My mom and I had brunch at Let's Eat to Live. The food was delicious! The Mac and Cheese and Peach Cobbler was so good it almost brought tears to my eyes. It's been a long time since my taste buds have had such a scrumptious experience. The establishment was also super clean and the staff was everything customer service should be.

So, my best friend and myself were trying to find chicken and waffles for her, and I was hungry for some fish so we stopped at a place near me that didn't have chicken and waffles or any of the sort. Found this place, and made the drive from the burbs to try it out. So worth the drive! They have a lamb special on Thursdays which we both got along with the chicken and waffles. So freaking delicious. Lamb had a very pleasant Sutter sweet and garlic flavor. Chicken was juicy and crispy. All sides were delicious. I can't wait to come back here again.

My husband and I having been wanting to come to this restaurant for a long time and it was absolutely worth the wait! Dining here was such a beautiful experience. The hostess Ms.Jackie was very welcoming and attentive. The dining area was inviting, clean, and warm (considering the very cold winter weather). Everything we ordered on the menu was deliciously made fresh and prepared with great care. The only complaint is that we were too full to order more food! We look forward to coming back here during our time here in Chicago.

What a lovely surprise! I was in the area between meetings. It's hard to find restaurants that offer healthy options that are tasty and reasonably priced. This one check all those boxes AND tops them off with excellent, friendly service. I'm not in this area much, but I will be sure to plan my meetings so that I can stop here again. I had the garden salad with salmon , which was PERFECTLY cooked, navy bean soup that had a nice kick without being too hot, and carrot fluff...which I'd never had before but is good enough to be a dessert! Highly highly recommend this gem!!!

What pleasant surprise Let's Eat to Live Was! A Black-owned restaurant that focuses on healthful options which are also quite tasty is a much-needed concept. I stopped by for dine-in. You sit where you want and the young man working the restaurant was polite and attentive. I had the tomato soup, the fried whiting, brussel sprouts, green beans, and coconut rice. There wasn't a bad option among them though my personal faves were the fish and the soup. Everything was so flavorful without being excessively greasy--I felt energized instead of lethargic afterwards! Next time I'm in Chicago, I will definitely make it a point to come back.

First time ordering and I had the tomato soup and the Chicken Caesar Salad and both were amazing. Fresh ingredients and it was all cooked with love. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you

My partner and I visited this restaurant on Sunday, and we had an amazing experience! The place was quiet, clean, and had a welcoming atmosphere. A few guests were already enjoying their meals when we arrived. We waited at the front for a bit before a friendly young lady came from the back to greet us. She explained that they were only offering a buffet that day and showed us where everything was, letting us know we could sit wherever we liked. Once we got our plates and started eating, we were blown away! The chicken was seasoned to perfection, and the Cajun pasta had just the right kick—it was absolutely delicious. But the real star of the show? The peach cobbler. From the first bite, it reminded me of my grandma’s cooking. It was fresh, with a perfectly flaky crust, just the way I love it. And did I mention it was all-you-can-eat? If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re seriously missing out. 20/10—highly recommend!

A pleasant surprise on 67th. Street. Loved this place. Great pics on the walls, stylish decor, and good food - you can't go wrong. I had a Black bean burger and fries. Didn't know what to expect from the burger, but it was awesome. My fries were golden, just the right texture, and lightly salted. Like Arnold - "I'll Be Back."
